Helping Christian families find freedom from debt.

Acts 2:45 speaks of how the early church used their possessions “as anyone had need.”  The 245 Partnership will help us “go and do likewise.”  (Luke 10:37)

Our goal is to provide $30,000 in grants quarterly.

That’s 100 people giving $100 per month. Or 200 people giving $50. Or 50 people giving $200.

We invite you to commit prayer and a contribution or monthly donation.

Who We Help

We want to help families “get over the hump” as they return to manageable lives after living in crisis. By being so targeted there are other, certainly very needy groups that are not part of our plans though we applaud and encourage support for such situations:
  • The indigent – Our funds are not sufficient to break the bonds of real poverty. We do believe that we can help indirectly by returning responsible caring people to a healthy financial situation and encouraging their compassion for others.
  • The irresponsible – We want to help those who will help themselves once on solid ground.   Though training and support for those challenged by managing life is worthy, our focus is to help those who already have those skills return to stability and encourage their participation in such efforts for others.
  • A temporary “fix” – Those who have debt beyond our ability to help will not be eligible for these funds but we encourage the church to help provide counsel to them.
  • Non-Christians – We are planning to “love one another” so those who are not members of a local church will not be eligible, though we certainly encourage other ministries to focus on their needs .
The target group will demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Believes – We are focused on helping others in the body of Christ. The recipients must be professing Christians, active in their local church.
  • Responsible – The recipients should have demonstrated the ability to live a financially responsible life style prior to the occurrence of an event out of their control. (Parable of the Talents – Matthew 25:14-30)
  • Generous – We will offer grants to those who have a history of generosity in their church and elsewhere.
We believe that these families are often too embarrassed to ask for help. Because they have prospered prior to the current challenges they are not in line for support from most charitable organizations. The local church is best able to identify and help such families.
